MEET
Glad you are here, I’m Brian, aka B, and I’ve spent 30 years of my career crafting and building. For the first 25 years, I worked as a tile setter and flooring installer, specializing in luxury custom homes. That chapter of my life was a success, allowing me to provide for my family and build a reputation for quality. However, after nearly a quarter-century of hard work, my body told me it was time for a change.
I took the leap to become a licensed general contractor, a challenge I embraced and achieved. While rewarding, I found myself longing to create with my own two hands again—a part of me that had been sidelined. In 2023, I discovered epoxy art and working with live edge slabs, and it reignited my creative spark.
This journey hasn’t been without its challenges; I’ve failed, learned, and grown along the way. But today, I take pride in crafting pieces that truly stand out. My work is not only one-of-a-kind but also crafted with the utmost attention to quality and finish.
At B’s Wood Service, my passion lies in turning your vision into reality. I believe there’s always room to grow, improve, and deliver excellence. Your dream becomes my mission, brought to life through dedication, skill, and craftsmanship.
wood to functional art
Every custom epoxy furniture piece is crafted with precision, artistry, and an eye for detail. The journey begins with a personalized consultation to bring your vision to life—whether it's a bold statement piece or a subtle, nature-inspired design. From there, hand-selected wood is expertly prepared, ensuring its natural character shines through. The epoxy is carefully mixed and poured, creating mesmerizing depths of color and texture before undergoing a meticulous curing process. Once hardened, each piece is shaped, sanded, and polished to a flawless finish. A protective seal enhances durability while amplifying the rich, organic beauty of the wood and epoxy. Finally, any necessary assembly is completed, and your custom piece is ready to transform your space with its one-of-a-kind charm.
